This site was located in Virginia Hills, Alberta. Nelson was contracted to remediate hydrocarbon contaminated soil from flare pits and crude oil spills.

In November, 2011 Nelson completed a thermal remediation project for Plains Midstream Canada, ULC near Little Buffalo, Alberta, that successfully remediated 33,000 tonnes of pipeline spill hydrocarbon contaminated soil.

In November 2012 Nelson completed a project for Crescent Point Energy that comprised of the remediation of 20,000 tonnes of pipeline spill hydrocarbon contaminated soil, in Creelman, Saskatchewan.

Nelson Environmental Remediation successfully worked to remediate the hydrocarbon contaminated soil from an abandoned well site near Pincher Creek, Alberta in 2009.

Nelson Environmental Remediation Ltd. headed east to Saskatchewan to complete the remediation of a contaminated oil and gas industry site in February 2011 and completed the project on the anticipated date of June 2011.
